sewing a hedeby apron dress

The discovery of a ship in Hedeby Harbor, in modern-day Germany, led to archaeologists finding a fragment of fabric, from which textile archaeologists extrapolated the existence of the smokkr, often known as an apron-dress. This class teaches one method of measuring for, laying out, cutting, and sewing together a 10th century Hedeby apron dress.
