day one hundred nineteen: penultimate

I made a mistake. When you figure out how long you want your weaving to be, you need to add 10-20% for loom waste and take-up.

Guess who forgot to add loom waste?

As a result, I didn't have a long enough warp to make the 48 inches of trim I wanted to trim both my tunic and my coat. I did manage to make 29 inches of trim, though, and that's plenty for my coat.

I was trying to decide whether to put it on the tunic or the coat, but I think it pops more on the coat.

I mean, it's pretty either way, but it just really looks correct on the blue coat.

So it's as done as I can make it, and tomorrow I get to sew it on AND THEN I AM DONE.

I've been running on short sleep for weeks, so I'm going to bed, and tomorrow I will have a completed project... and I can start prepping for my next challenge: the Ethereal Seamstress Challenge, where I get to do this same thing in a month instead of four months. Bring it on.

Bed time. Night, y'all.
