we can learn so much from others…

…especially their fails. Specifically, my fails, which is where most of my mending comes from. Usually, it’s from me failing to finish seam allowances. My new makes do have finished seams, so hopefully as time goes by, repairs will be from wear rather than inadequate construction.

My latest post in the mending section is about fixing a frayed edge where I made a poor assembly choice. The new fix is both attractive and sturdy and was pretty easy to do.
